At the center of the Stone Circle is a sizable cairn made of a variety of stones. Some black, some grey, some reddish, some blue, the stones are flat, densely stacked, and perfectly balanced. They are inscribed with runes that translate to, KEEP US SAFE AND GUIDE US TRUE.
Despite how precarious the cairn looks, no amount of force or magic can destroy it. The runes on it glow vivid teal that brighten considerably whenever you draw near.
Lodestars are anchors of the land, conduits for the strong magic present in all things. They are typically densely packed cairns at least seven feet tall. Outlanders can teleport between Lodestars and can choose which one they revive at when they die.
Fast travel works like teleporting between shrines in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom. Simply focus clearly on the Lodestar you want to teleport to, or touch the marker of an active Lodestar on the map to teleport to it using your journal. You will break down into teal light, zip across the land, and rematerialize beside the chosen anchor.
Characters can only take what they can feasibly carry on their person when fast traveling. Larger supplies or larger items will need to be moved across the land the old fashioned way.

If you want to bring another person with you when you fast travel (e.g. the person is unconscious), roll a 1d100. If it’s a 25 or lower, the person travels with you. Otherwise, their body gets left behind.

Lastly, fast travel is very disorienting. For fun, you can roll to see if your character is made ill by the journey!
Open your journal while standing beside an enchanted cairn, and concentrate on the feeling of power around you. The World can understand your intent; the marker of the lodestar you are standing beside will turn teal, designating it as the one you will return to upon death.
To change your respawn point OOC, just post an update in #character-updates.
