The combat system we will be using will not be standard. Instead, we will function on a system of Wounds.

If you’re not available for the scheduled time, late entries are always welcomed and will be tacked on at the bottom of the initiative order.

Wounds

At Favor Tier 0, Outlanders can sustain three wounds before they succumb to their injuries and lose consciousness.

Favor Tier 0 Outlanders have an AC of 10.

For every Tier above 0, Outlanders can sustain one additional wound before being on death’s door, and their AC increases by 1 until Favor Tier 5, where it increases by two.

Outlanders roll with a bonus equal to their Favor Tier.

If an Outlander sustains multiple wounds at once that would bring them past their limit, they are unconscious, not instantly dead.

For example:

Companions

If you have a companion (e.g. pet, Digimon, Pokémon, droids, etc), they would have half of your wounds rounded down. At ranks 0 and 1, that would be 2 wounds.

If you have more than one companion, you can combine their wound and redistribute the totals. For example, Hal has a Bear and an Owl companion (4 wounds total). They decide to give 3 wounds to the bear and 1 wound to the owl.

Available Actions

On your turn, you can choose from the following actions.

  1. ATTACK: Self-explanatory. Feel free to flavor this however you wish.
  2. SPOT: Search for a weak point or flaw that might grant advantage for a round.
  3. HELP: Assist another character and grant them guaranteed advantage for their next Attack.
  4. FEINT: Impose disadvantage on attacks against you until your next turn.
